Shipping Policy
Orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation within three business days of placing your order, please contact langley@studiosashiko.com with your order confirmation. All orders are shipped from our studio in British Columbia, Canada via Canada Post.
Duties and Taxes
Canada
Canadian orders are subject to federal and provincial sales taxes based on the destination province. As all shipments are domestic, no duties are applied.
International
International orders are shipped delivery duties unpaid (DDU). Customs fees, duties, and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Customers are responsible for paying any applicable charges upon delivery. These fees cannot be calculated in advance or covered by Studio Sashiko. If the package is refused or returned due to unpaid fees, customers will not be reimbursed for the order.
United States
All US orders are shipped from British Columbia, Canada. By placing an order, you acknowledge that the sale occurs outside the United States and that the order is for personal, non-commercial use. You are considered the importer for US Customs purposes, and your order will be subject to applicable US customs regulations.
Return Policy
To request a return, the following conditions must be met:
The request must be made within 30 days of delivery
Items must be in their original, unused, unaltered, and unwashed condition
Original tags, packaging, and seals must remain intact
Final sale items are not eligible for return
Specific guidelines by product type:
Accessories (jewelry, hair): must be returned unused, unaltered, and in original packaging
Apparel: all tags must remain attached; avoid deodorant, makeup, perfume, or jewelry that may damage the fabric
Beauty products (face, body, hair): must remain unused, sealed, and in original packaging
Objects (candles, ceramics): must be returned unused, unaltered, and in original packaging
If an item is damaged or defective, please contact langley@studiosashiko.com for assistance. Studio Sashiko reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these requirements. Rejected items will be returned to the original shipping address.
Exchanges
Neutral Ink Lab does not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item, please return it for a refund and place a new order for the preferred item.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned items have been inspected and approved. Processing may take up to 7 business days, with additional time for your financial institution to post the refund. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
